Q: Does the property have any security measures?

A: Yes! Nittany Pointe has an on-site security team that operates 7 days a week in addition to frequent drive-throughs by the local Logan Township Police. Each unit also has an emergency button in every bedroom, as well as right inside the front door that bypasses our security team and dispatches the police.

 

Q: Do you provide transportation to class?

A: Yes! A shuttle bus makes rounds every 15 minutes and drops off in the Hawthorne parking lot. This schedule is provided at move-in.

 

Q: What is included in the utility package?

A: Water, sewer, gas, electric, trash, internet, and shuttle bus are all included. Cable is not included, but there are hook-ups in each room, as well as in the living room for those who are interested

 

Q: What is the Activity Fee?

A:  The Activity Fee is a one-time payment of $215 that gives our Resident Guests 24/7 access to our clubhouse amenities.  This includes our gym, game room, computer lab, pool, and spa.  We also have a tanning bed that can be used during office hours.

 

Q: Do you provide internet?

A: Yes, internet is included in the utility package, but a router is required to enable wireless internet.

 

Q: Are co-ed units allowed?

A: No. All roommates within the unit are the same legal gender however, the buildings themselves are a mix.

 

Q: Do you provide roommate matching?

A: Yes! There are several questions on the application that ask about living habits and personality traits that assist us in matching to the best of our ability

 

Q: Am I responsible for filling my unit?

A: No. In the event you do not have 3 other roommates in mind, we will match you as well as provide their names and contact information to connect.

 

Q: What if we have a roommate conflict?

A: Our management team is happy to sit with all guests from the unit in question and to work through their issues. If it is determined to be unresolvable, further steps may be taken.

 

Q: Is there on-site maintenance?

A: Yes!  Our Building Services team operates during normal business hours, but they are available 24/7 for emergencies.

 

Q: Where do our packages get sent?

A: All packages are delivered to the office and logged based on name and apartment number. The address is: 200 Campus View Drive, Altoona, PA 16601 + apartment number.

 

Q: Do you offer summer stay or summer storage?

A: BOTH! Ask our management team for more information.
